A Wide Range of Solid Hardwood Flooring
We carry a wide range of high quality, timber flooring, including red oak ash, hickory, birch and maple. Although the choice of wood is largely a matter of personal preference, there are other factors that you might like to take into account such as hardness. Hickory is the hardest domestic wood available, making it an excellent choice for areas in your house that are subject to high foot traffic. Hallways and family rooms are two areas where it could be your best option. Having said that, all the solid timber flooring that we sell is durable so if you really prefer birch or red oak over hickory, then you should choose accordingly.
Looking Good for Many Years
The great thing about solid hardwood flooring is that it can be refinished a number of times. If, for example, after a few years of service your maple living room floor is beginning to show its age, you can simply call us and arrange to have it refinished. By the time we are done, your floor will look as good as new again! The durable nature of the hardwoods that we use, coupled with the ability to refinish floors whenever desired means that your new wood floors could well last long as the bricks and mortar that hold your home together. A timber floor may be more expensive than carpeting or laminate but when you consider its longevity, it could work out to be considerably cheaper than the alternatives in the long run.
